The scale is an unreliable source of validation that your hard-work is paying off. You set goals and made a plan to get there - stick to it, no matter what the number says. It's easy to get frustrated and feel badly about yourself when your success isn't staring you in the face. Remember WHY you want to be healthier, fitter, stronger, eat less sugar, get more exercise, prepare and cook nutritious food. Then, take the time to notice if THOSE goals are being reached. Are you sleeping better? Are you eating more fruits and veggies? Feeling more energized all day long? Are you making healthier choices more consitently? Are you standing a little taller and feeling a bit better? Well, there you go. Keep a list. And keep going, one step at a time. It's not about the scale - it doesn't really matter - it's about you - and YOU matter a lot. Be good to yourselves, and celebrate that.
